Adam Fisher, Executive Chef @ The Third Monkey
Adam Fisher is a 2x National Chef of the Year finalist who earned his stripes at impressive places like Pennyhill Park and Coworth Park. Not a bad apprenticeship.
Now, he’s the Executive Chef at The Third Monkey, where he serves up seasonal British cooking with a modern twist. Think Cornish Crab Crumpets and Sticky Beef & Bone Marrow Eclairs. You get the idea.
The popular Farnham venue is set over two impressive floors, with a gastropub on the bottom, and a cocktail bar, restaurant and terrace on the top. I was there for lunch yesterday. Full review to follow soon.

The Latymer, Bagshot.
“Steve Smith’s food is balanced, seasonal and super tasty.”
The Latymer was awarded one Michelin star in 2021.
2. Best Pub.
The Dirty Sixth, Godalming.
“Food absolutely slaps. Amazing dishes with character – proper low and slow cooking – and the cocktails are spot on.”
The Dirty Sixth serves Texas-style BBQ in a pub setting.
3. Best Curry.
Pipasha Churt, Farnham.
“Quality, fresh ingredients that you don’t normally find.”
Pipasha is a local favourite in Farnham.
4. Best Pizza.
Monte Forte, Reigate, Farnham & Dorking.
“Unreal pizza. Enough said.”
5. Best Value.
The Dirty Sixth, Godalming.
“I know I have already said this above, but I love it, and it’s great value for money.”
Nobody ever leaves The Dirty Sixth hungry.

The Golden Bull Steakhouse, Camberley

“Principally it’s a steak restaurant but it offers many alternatives. The service is better than anywhere I’ve been locally. They are very careful and accommodating regarding food allergies. It is not cheap but one does get good value for money.”
